@Jolly said in Joe’s vacant eyes: @Aqua-Letifer said in Joe’s vacant eyes: @Jolly said in Joe’s vacant eyes: Besides, if Biden's campaign thought Adderall would help sharpen his mind, do you think they would use it? Yes. But the conspiracy part is assuming it would indeed help. It would help even a normal person. There you go again, making assumptions about Diamond Joe.

@George-K said in Trump sues to block Bolton book: For the record, I have no dislike of "The 'Stache." As people have said, he's smart, savvy, and very, very opionated. Regarding the lawsuit, however, a judge ruled, today, that the lawsuit can proceed: Catherine Herridge Tweets: Judge Lamberth denies former NSA John Bolton’s motion to dismiss government’s lawsuit against him, in which DOJ claims Bolton disclosed classified information in his book, "The Room Where It Happened." Judge Lamberth found, “the government sufficiently alleges that Bolton breached his prepublication review and predisclosure consultation obligations" + “sufficiently alleges that Bolton breached his nondisclosure obligations.” NOTE: Count 3 - government entitled to “constructive trust” over royalties. (I didn't embed the tweet so that some wouldn't be triggered, LOL) I read this a while ago, so my information might be out of date. But the way I understand it: Bolton went through the classified info review process and didn't receive any further edits, but didn't get approval either. So - he wasn't approved to publish, but he wasn't getting any suggestions for changes/remove of classified info either. I think his position would be that he was being held up by red tape. Should be interesting.

Herschel speaks tonight: "Suppose someone stood on the debate stage next to President Obama and called him 'a clown,' 'stupid,' 'a racist,' and then told him to 'shut up,' what do you think the backlash would be?"

@taiwan_girl said in What is that?: @Jolly said in What is that?: So, what is it? No idea. Maybe one of his aides is super deaf. But probably one of those pictures that in one frame looks suspicious, but when you look again, it is harmless. Like the Loch Ness picture, etc. [image: 84480200.jpg] That's a pair of titties...

I admit I like reddit very much. It’s a bigger rabbit hole than twitter on some level but often people that relay more info and less tooting their own horn or being a pipe for someone else’s rhetoric.

I see where Adams is coming from. Nothing is socially destructive to outed Trump supporters like the racism connotations.

@xenon said in Rush Speaks: @Horace said in Rush Speaks: Xenon, you're a business person. Do businesses have friends among other businesses, or interests? Does that relate to how countries should operate? Actually the law frowns on businesses operating as friends, in some senses. Price fixing would seem a friendly thing to do. Business is designed to be ruthless (or at least I think that's an ok construct to run it). It's fine to aim to run your competitors (neighbors?) into the ground and annihilate them. I don't know if that's a good way to approach foreign relations (people used to). That is how things have worked since the dawn of man. Don't reject it out of hand.

@Horace said in Never realized there were good recessions until now: Well after all it does stand to reason that a shutdown will harm low wage earners more. The high earners are less immediately connected to the economic processes enabled by people going outside and spending pocket money. However they did get those sweet sweet stimulus checks. Agree

@Aqua-Letifer said in Breaking the Debate Rules: @Jolly said in Breaking the Debate Rules: @Doctor-Phibes said in Breaking the Debate Rules: "Mum, Joey did it first!" "Well Donny, if Joe jumped in the lake first, would you do it too?" If you walked into bar, and there was a guy sitting at the end of the bar sipping a beer, would you walk up and slap him? I know that I personally go out of my way to bump back everyone who bumps into me on the metro. Everyone. It takes a ton of time and it's started quite a few incidents, but I just say "hey, man, you started it." I mean if it was a punch I'd be doing exactly the same thing amirite? Bad comparison. If someone bumps into me by accident, I will apologize for being in his way and smile at him, shake his hand, make sure he's ok and knows I know he didn't do it on purpose. If someone purposely bumps into me, I will know the difference immediately, and I will stomp his ass into the dirt. It is silly to blame the victim when he responds to the aggressor.
